Hi, I’m Kristian
I am a ~multi~disciplinary artist based in Oklahoma City.
My passion is fiber art; knitting and crocheting. Somewhere along the lines I stumbled myself into being the Display Artist at Anthropologie here in OKC. During my time in that role I picked up new skills and deepened my love for creating. I stepped down sometime in 2024 and have been building Fatty Moon ever since.
I started this website back in 2017, I had dreams and aspirations of being a blogger but somewhere between graduating high school, starting my career at Anthro, and then, becoming a mother, that part of me got tucked away.
In an era of being over social media, feeling weird about posting and doing something that feels so foreign. *besides an Instagram story, I love a good gab
I thought maybe taking this space back to her roots, getting back to my roots of who I once wanted to be because despite every obstacle life has thrown at me, I’ve still done it. Created a life I always dreamed of as a girl.
An ode to her, I became exactly who you always dreamt of and more. As our girl Lana once said, “This is my commitment, my modern manifesto. I’m doing this for all of us who never got the chance,” because there was once a version of me who never thought any of this was even a possibility.
